Lorna Ball is a self-taught artist who has admired and studied mosaic art for many years.
She admired the work of several masters such as Van Gogh and Emily Carr, and started trying to reproduce their brush strokes using glass cuttings left over from stained glass objects. See her full artist’s statement at the show.
