About Tim Banighen’s work:
“My name is Tim Banighen, or iso_distracted on social media. My show is mainly going to be abstract paintings, as well as some of my ink paintings. I usually never start a painting with a plan or colour palette in mind. I just create as I go. The thought “what if…” usually guides me, and I experiment a lot, often using recycled materials, either to paint with or in the paintings themselves. My art usually is very colourful no matter what medium I use. Textures are something I
love to use a lot, whether it’s to add a ridge here or a little squiggle there. I always tell people to touch the textures. So if you do stop by to see the artwork feel free to touch it.”
