Anna Mar – Abstract Fine Art Inspired by Nature
Anna’s art is strongly influenced by nature. She spends a lot of time outdoors, immersing herself in her surroundings and experiencing creation in its purest form. She looks at nature through the prism of our existence and (co)existence with nature is an integral element of her art. Her work is very organic. It shares the essence and beauty of the natural form and focuses our attention on the unnoticed to create artwork that emanates peace and tranquility. It is an expression of gratitude and fulfillment.
“As an artist I immerse myself in beauty and the force of nature. My paintings explore the presence and influence of nature in our lives and unfold a path of self exploration. Painting is visual storytelling, a way of expressing myself without words. Capturing the grace of nature onto canvas deepens connections. It is an expression of gratitude and fulfilment. Through my art, I invite everyone on an individual journey to reflect on emotions and values. I hope that my paintings will connect with the viewer, inspire, and bring inner peace.”
After leaving in 4 different countries and 7 cities around the world Anna made her home and is currently living in Sooke.
This show features work from Immersion – collection of paintings inspired by the desert, Unspoiled – collection of paintings inspired by the natural beauty of British Columbia, as well as other body of work with its own narrative.
