POV October & November 2026 – Street & Zutz

This exhibit is available for viewing from October 1, 2026 – November 29, 2026

Yvette Street

Yvette Street’s work moves within the language of fracture and renewal. Two older pieces, once broken and repaired, revealed a quiet beauty in their seams — a shimmer of transformation that became the heart of this series. Through layered metallic and acrylic surfaces, Yvette explores the tension between vulnerability and resilience. Gold and silver traces are not ornament but testimony of restoration and becoming. It’s all in the process — the slow pour, the unfolding shimmer, the moment before completion. Surfaces become a meditation on continuity, where repair is not an ending but a living act of revelation. A quiet mend.

Kimberley Zutz

Kimberley Zutz’s paintings reveal a deep connection to the natural world, expressed through both realism and abstraction. Her animal portraits carry a striking emotional presence, capturing texture, light, and personality with careful detail. In contrast, her landscapes and abstract pieces translate nature into flowing shapes, layered colour, and atmospheric mood. Whether depicting a fox in winter or the gentle rhythm of land and sky, her work blends observation with intuition. Each canvas feels like a moment suspended — a quiet invitation to slow down, look closely, and feel the subtle pulse of the world she paints.
