You can view the show, Sub Text: The Message in Art, in person at Metchosin ArtPod, 4495 Happy Valley Road in Metchosin. Open Fridays to Sundays, 11a.m. – 4 p.m. There are over 30 artworks by 26 southern Vancouver Island artists, plus work by ArtPod Collective members in the show. Diana Smith is the feature artist and would love you to see what she has been working on over the past few years. Abstract the News is a series of 12 artworks inspired by newspaper photographs.
