As a landscape painter, I also feel like a historian of Victoria places. I have worked in oils, on location, in many quiet corners of the city and surrounding areas for decades. From Fairfield neighborhoods, to city views, to inside a 50’s style house, this is a collection of mostly early works, and feature Victoria from 20 -30 years ago. I strive for an impressionistic reaction to the view I’m painting, and working quickly, (en plein air), keeps me from overworking canvases. I hope you enjoy this glimpse of past works, and stay tuned for a new series being shown here in October.
