There is so much to love about collage art. For me it’s a sandbox, a place to play! I begin each piece with something that has grabbed my attention:
an image, an idea, a colour palette, a texture. From there the intuitive process unfolds in arranging, rearranging, layering unlikely components, allowing unexpected connections to emerge. I like starting out not knowing what will happen. The joy of discovery.
